We believe in teaching children through a mixture of guided and undirected creative play. The children have the opportunity to learn about color, shapes, textures, numbers, letters, animals, seasons, feelings, senses, nutrition, personal hygiene, manners, basic science and math concepts, and creative concepts such as гpretendд play, art, music, drama, and dance. |

Our goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, stimulating, fun, educational environment with a semi-structured day plan where parents can work without the added stress of worrying whether or not their child is safe. Our activities include free and structured playtime, large and small motor skill activities, story time, theater activities, arts and crafts, music and dance, nature and ecology awareness, nutrition, cultural activities, and other educational, yet fun, activities. Meet Mrs. Ray I was raised in a military-style boarding school in Pennsylvania. It was through this schooling that my heart developed a desire to take in children that did not have a home. I served in the United States Army departing with an honorable discharge. I later worked in the federal government and private industry in the Washington, DC area for over 25 years. I left the legal profession in 2003 to open my family child care. I feel the Lord has blessed me with this wonderful opportunity to be able to spend my days ministering to and training children in a godly manner. I recently served in the Kids’ Crusade Ministry at Hope Christian Church where I worship with my husband of six years. I am the single mother of a fine young man who has been serving in the military upon graduating from high school in 1994. On November 24, 2006 we were granted permission to operate with four infants and four other children. We teach the children to be accountable and responsible for their actions. Each child will learn respect for self, others, property and good manners. We believe the best way to do this is through demonstration and by teaching about the love of Jesus. This can be done through prayer, action, videos, books and music. Fenced in yard with playground Activities to strengthen mind, body and spirit Field trips to museums, libraries, parks and more Part-time and full-time openings Before and after school Infants through 12 years For the best of both worlds: Education and Christian values Taught in a loving family environment
