How long do I have to wait with my learners permit before I consider taking the road test?
A minimum of 6 months and violation free for the same period.Can my parents/mentor or guardian teach me how to drive without a learner`s permit?
No. They should not under any circumstances.
Info: As of September 2003, you must have an appointment for your roads test after completing your Driver`s Ed at an MVA approved driving school. If you are not a US citizen, you must have an appointment for your written test and submit the required documents before obtaining your learner`s permit.
